2018-2019 PEG List Campuses

Notification of Eligibility for Intradistrict/Interdistrict Transfer Provision
A campus qualifies to be listed under the PEG program if 50 percent or more of the students did not pass any of the state assessment subjects in any two of the preceding three years (2015, 2016, or 2017), or if a school was rated Improvement Required in 2015, 2016, or 2017.

See the PEG Report Link below for a listing of the ZCISD schools listed on the PEG Report.

The PEG program transfer provision permits parents whose children attend schools on the PEG list to request that their children transfer to schools in other districts (Intradistrict) or within the district (Interdistrict) for the 2018-2019 school year.

A request for a transfer to another school within ZCISD must be made in writing using the district’s transfer form. Transfer forms may be obtained from the Human Resource Office located at 1302 Glenn Street.

The district or school is entitled to accept or reject the transfer based on protocols followed for any requests for transfers. Schools may not use criteria that discriminate on the basis of a student’s race, ethnicity, academic achievement, athletic abilities, language proficiency, sex, or socioeconomic status.

The school district is not required to provide transportation from a PEG-listed school to the new school.
Note: ZCISD will not provide transportation for PEG transferred students.

Student eligibility for Interdistrict Transfers expires upon any of the following conditions:
• Completion of all grades offered by the campus upon which eligibility was originally based.
• Removal of the campus from the PEG list
• Assignment of the student to a campus that is not on the PEG list as a result of redrawn attendance boundaries or student movement into a different attendance area.

Should you have any questions, please contact campus administration.
