Jump-Start Prep Program 2022

Laredo College South Campus Dean Priscilla Medina and her staff visited Zapata High School students that participated in the Jump-Start Prep Program 2022, which provides students the opportunity to attend TSI2 prep courses. Students who meet the TSI2 standards then have opportunity to enroll in the Early College Academy as freshmen or take dual credit courses at Laredo College. As a token of appreciation for their effort, Laredo College gave 163 Zapata students a MainEvent voucher with a 75th Anniversary goody bag sponsored by the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Foundation.

LET'S GO TO WORK- VAMOS A TRABAJAR

When students graduate from high school, they often face a future that has more questions than answers. For students with disabilities, the future can be even more uncertain. Transition planning helps students with disabilities, and their families, prepare for the transition to adult life after graduation from high school.
