Nine ZCISD Title I students graduated from The Girls with Impact Academy Program, an Online Business & Innovation Academy, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The girls were presented with a backpack and a laptop for their engagement and excellence in the program. These students were selected in January of 2023 and completed a total of 10 sessions that focused on learning core business skills, turning passion into an impact, and creating a business. The sessions were held by the Academy's Coach Michele and the Academy's Program Manager Mckenna Belury on Thursday's at 5:00pm at the Boys and Girls Club under the direction of Leslie Vela (CEO), Mona Martinez (Grant Administrator) and Alexzandrah Palacios (Youth Development Staff).
