2019 Jump Start Program

Some 40 students from the Zapata Jump Start program celebrated the end of their summer activities on Friday, July 19 at the Pla-mor family Entertainment Center. Students were treated to an afternoon of bowling, gaming and lunch to celebrate their commitment to completing the summer program. The Zapata Jump Start Program helps students from the Zapata area prepare for college life by helping them succeed in the areas of reading, writing and math. The program is sponsored by the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Foundation.
