Pillar Strong Partnership

PILLAR is a non-profit Mental Health Organization and a License Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facility whose goal is to reduce bullying, suicide incidents, substance abuse/use behaviors and increase access to services.

Background

In this agreement, it is recognized that PILLAR is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center as designated by the Texas Health and Human Services and licensed as a substance use treatment center by the Texas Department of State Health Services and has been providing such services for the last 12 years.

This collaboration exemplifies a joint effort to provide evidence based treatment to students, faculty, and appropriate family members (youth and adults) who are suffering from behavioral health concerns. Our shared goals are to improve access to behavioral health services for persons connected to our partnership, improve mental health outcomes, and to ensure optimal emotional wellness for children and families of the Zapata community.
