The Zapata County ISD Office of the Superintendent is committed to facilitating superior communication within the district and between the district and the community. We offer a variety of communication tools to facilitate both internal and external communication, including the following:
District Website: The Zapata County ISD website, www.zcisd.org is full of information regarding Zapata County ISD and its schools. The Office of the Superintendent, along with the Director of Public Relations and Campus Principals, maintains and updates information on the District website and provides training and support to departmental users and campus webmasters. You can find a variety of information on curriculum, health and safety, child nutrition, transportation and more!
Campus Website: Each campus website includes information related to that campus, including their programs, student honors and awards, calendars, events and more. Campus staff update and maintain information on their campus webpage. Contact the campus librarian for website information and updates.

Remind: In an effort to keep parents informed in a variety of events, from emergencies to campus reminders, Zapata County ISD uses Remind, an email and text program that notifies parents on a moments notice. Be sure your phone number and email are up-to-date in Parent Portal to ensure you are contacted through this tool.
Parent Portal: Zapata County ISD has a wonderful tool to help parents and students track their attendance along with grades. In addition, parents will be notified when their child is absent through the district notification system. Ascender Parent Portal allows parents an opportunity to view this information online.
