This cluster focuses on the essential elements of life - water, air, food, and land. If you love to be outdoors, enjoy caring for plants and animals, and want to help conserve our natural resources, then this might be the right cluster for you.

AgScience students at Zapata High School can choose to raise an animal as part of their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program. These animal projects teach students about real-life responsibility, money management, dedication, and compassion.

ZCISD also has a local livestock show at in March each year for students to compete against each other and also to auction off their animals for sale.
