Complaints and Concerns

The Zapata County Independent School District believes in providing the utmost professional service to all of our stakeholders.  However, there is always room for improvement.  With this in mind, at times, there may be concerns that need to be addressed accordingly, be it the informal or formal process.   

Complaints may be addressed through the informal process.  The informal process includes bringing the complaint to the individual who can address the matter immediately and offer a resolution.  Usually, student or parent complaints or concerns can be addressed informally by a phone call or a conference with the teacher, principal or departmental director.  If you wish to discuss your complaint with an administrator who can assist you, please contact the the Central Administration Office at (956) 765-6546.

For those complaints and concerns that cannot be resolved informally, the Zapata County Independent School District has adopted a Student and Parent Complaints/Grievances Policy FNG (LOCAL) which can be found below.
